Leweston School held their yearly Easter Pentathlon and Triathlon Training camp catering to participants aged 9 to 18 from April 2 to 7, 2024. The event attracted 89 athletes, showcasing a diverse range of ages and skill levels.
Athletes of all levels, from beginners to elite competitors, are welcomed at the Camps. With a team of 14 coaches specialising in Swimming, Running, Fencing, Shooting (Laser and Pellet), Cycling, Land Training, Biathle, Triathle, and Triathlon. Participants were grouped based on their abilities and age, and each day they engaged in four training sessions tailored to their chosen activities, providing a well-rounded experience for all.
Participants had the choice between staying on-site or commuting for the camp, enjoying all meals provided to keep their energy levels up for the day's activities. Dedication and learning were evident as everyone delved into their respective sports, gaining valuable insights into training and competition. The camp culminated in the exciting Leweston Biathle event, (open to all - not just Camp participants), allowing them to showcase their newfound skills and knowledge acquired during the camp.

The next Leweston Camp takes place during Summer from 6 to 11 August at Leweston School. This will include all the above plus two trips to Weymouth for sea swimming.

Additionally, Leweston School will be hosting a variety of exciting events throughout the summer, including Triathle, Laser Run, and Triathlon competitions, as well as dedicated training days. Weekly training sessions are also available for those interested in honing their skills in shooting (Laser and Pellet) and fencing.
