Last week our Year 12 Fine Art and 3D Design students visited the Phyllida Barlow exhibition at Hauser and Wirth in Bruton. Elio M, one of the students on the trip, wrote about the experience.
"It was an inspirational trip that gave us whole new perspectives for our Art A Levels. The gallery was host to a collection of large-scale structures and installations - some towering all the way to the ceiling. Barlow explores how material can be used to create forms, using a variety of media for her designs. It was a very enlightening trip that definitely will be useful for all of us; changing the way we think during our creative processes and giving us new ideas for our own projects."
