A group of Leweston Sixth Form students from Year 12 and 13 were given some insights on Higher Level Degree Apprenticeships by Hazel Niederlag from Forvis Mazars, highlighting work, study balance, and recruitment tips.
We are incredibly grateful to Hazel Niederlag from the global finance firm Forvis Mazars for sharing her insights with a group of our Sixth Form students about Higher Level Degree Apprenticeships and the exciting work experience opportunities available at their Poole office.
Hazel gave a compelling overview of her role, explaining how she seamlessly combines work and study to achieve her ACA qualifications. She also delved into the recruitment journey, emphasising the importance of showcasing teamwork abilities and aligning with the company's culture to land a job.
Her presentation was enlightening, guiding our sixth formers in making crucial decisions between pursuing a degree or an apprenticeship.
Hazel has a special connection to Leweston, having attended Leweston Prep, and being part of the very first class taught by our current Prep 5 teacher, Mr. McClosky!
