On Friday 13 September, Schola Cantorum took the stage at Cheap Street Church in Sherborne to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Save the Children UK concert. They were joined by the renowned vocal group from St John’s College, Cambridge, The Gents of St John's.
Leweston has proudly participated in this concert for several years, and it’s always a brilliant experience for our choir. The Gents of St John’s never fail to inspire, both during their afternoon workshop and their evening performance.
This particular evening was even more memorable with Princess Anne in the audience, attending as the Patron of Save the Children. Adding to the excitement, our Leweston Prep student, Lily M., had the honour of presenting a gift to the Princess. It was truly an unforgettable experience for all our students who were there.
