Students Shine in Swimming Gala

A big well done to our amazing Pre-Prep and Prep students who absolutely dazzled in their Swimming Showcase and Gala before half term.

It was great to see the Pre-Prep pupils' Showcase where they demonstrated all the skills they've been working hard on in their lessons, from breast stroke to float kicks to stars, mushrooms, and dolphin kicks. We are so proud of their progress and dedication in the pool.

The Prep pupils then took to the pool for their annual Swimming Gala. Everyone swam with brilliant determination which saw some of the swimmers awarded with cups and shields. Congratulations to the winning House, St Antony who won by 1 point!

Special recognition goes to Izzy K for winning the 50m backstroke, 50m front crawl and 25m butterfly finals, and Tilly W for winning the 50m breaststroke final; these victories mean the girls were awarded the four Year 6 swimming cups for the respective strokes. Congratulations also to Lexie C (Prep 5) for posting the fastest times in Prep 5 for 25m backstroke, 25m breaststroke and 25m front crawl, and the fastest times in the whole Prep School for 25m butterfly and the individual medley; leading to her winning the Reynolds Shield for the most promising Year 5 swimmer.

Thank you to all the parents and family members who joined to show their support!
