Year 9 students excel in a STEM challenge, designing and building straw bridges, showcasing teamwork and engineering skills during their PSHRE session.
Last week, Year 9 engaged in a STEM activity during their PSHRE session, where they were tasked with designing and constructing a bridge using straws, masking tape, and elastic bands.
Teams were evaluated based on their plans, design, size, structural integrity of their bridges, and teamwork skills. The teams worked together effectively on this engineering challenge, making it quite difficult to select a winning bridge.
