We were honoured to have Sir Matthew Pinsent as our guest speaker for this term's Leweston Lecture. Matthew shared his incredible journey as a four-time Olympic Gold medallist in rowing, discussing what it takes to succeed at the highest level of competition.
He graciously allowed the audience to pass around his medals for a closer look, all while sharing the challenges and triumphs behind each win. Matthew's engaging stories and humour left everyone feeling inspired, as evidenced by the lively Q& A session that followed. When asked to sum up his career in one quote, Matthew humorously replied, "I'll need to get back to you on that one!" It's no easy task to capture such a remarkable career in just a few words.
