Grandparents' Day: Celebrating Remembrance and Joy with family

The children were thrilled to showcase their classrooms, share some of their Remembrance Day poems, and invite their grandparents to join in a beloved wake and shake! They enjoyed crafting together by making poppies, colouring, exploring textures in our sensory tray, and venturing outside to discover the Autumn leaves.

From creating playdough poppies, practicing numbers and letters, to preparing pizza, the classrooms were filled with laughter, joy, and countless smiles. It was wonderful to meet new faces and reconnect with familiar ones. The classes also cherished the beautiful photos of grandparents who couldn't be there, taking a moment to speak about and remember them fondly.
