Year 8 Pupils Go for Gold in Leweston Learner Diploma Presentations

Year 8 pupils at Leweston demonstrate their growth in key skills through presentations for the prestigious Leweston Learner Diploma, aiming for Bronze, Silver, or Gold awards.

Earlier this term, all Year 8 pupils submitted their presentations for the Leweston Learner Diploma. This diploma is an accolade that students work towards from Years 5 to 8, highlighting their development in the five Leweston Learner characteristics: Adventurous, Confident, Creative, Inquisitive, and Resilient. Pupils have the option to pursue a Bronze, Silver, or Gold award.

Those aiming for Gold present their work to a Senior member of staff, honing their presentation skills. Students are encouraged to reflect on how they have cultivated these essential skills during their time at Leweston, encompassing all areas of school life, from academics to extracurricular activities. The group below, one of several striving for Gold, delivered outstanding presentations, showcasing their talents and reflections to Mrs Dencher.
