Sustainability and Creativity: Year 7 Retreat Day at Leweston

The Year 7 Retreat Day centred around the theme ‘In solidarity for a green world’, aligning with this month's focus at the Climate Change Conference COP 29. The day aimed to delve into collaborative efforts for a more sustainable future, standing together with our global community.

Students had time to reflect on the United Nations Sustainability Goals; what they are and how we can be more sustainable in our own lives. Opportunities were provided for creativity and fun, including group activities such as; Music in Nature led by Dr Milestone, a clay project creating Christmas decorations, and finally students collaborated on their own mini Earth Shot Project.

The day ended with a prayerful reflection in the Chapel.
