Prep 3 Visit Dorset Museum

Prep 3 had a wonderful day at the Dorset Museum last week. They started the day with a brilliant 'Durnovarian Dorset' Roman workshop, followed by a trip to the Roman Townhouse in the afternoon.

Some of the pupils' highlights from their visit include: becoming archaeologists and taking part in an excavation; exploring the museum; dressing up in Roman clothes; and exploring the only Roman Town House to be seen in its entirety in Britain.

Everyone's behaviour throughout the visit was superb and they each showed such curiosity in everything they saw. Prep 3 really impressed everyone with their thoughtful answers to questions and when they left, the museum's staff commented on what a super group they had been.
