The South West Schools Laser Run, held at Leweston school on the weekend of 11-12 May, served as a qualifier for the upcoming National Schools competition. With 27 talented athletes from Leweston School participating, this event marked the debut of laser run for some of these competitors.
Despite the scorching temperatures and abundant sunshine, the athletes showcased their skills with remarkable races throughout the day. The school's athletes secured an impressive tally of 4 Gold, 5 Silver, and 6 Bronze in individual events, along with 5 Gold and 2 Silver in team competitions. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the dedicated officials and volunteers who made this event a success.
