Championship Monday

Monday saw an outstanding team victory in the 80-85cm County Show Jumping, proudly reclaiming the National Championship title for Dorset! Hats off to May S and her pony Magic for her individual 4th place, alongside the stellar performances of Hen J (Fella), Florie C (Frodo), and Ruby P (Spike).

After securing 5th place in the competitive 90-95cm class, our riders eagerly made their way to the Eventers Challenge course as the final team out of 36 to tackle the iconic arena. With numerous teams already boasting flawless rounds, our riders knew they had to deliver clear, precise rides to clock in as close to the optimum time as possible. And deliver they did, navigating through fabulous Cross Country rounds that ultimately landed the team in a well-deserved 3rd place. The excitement peaked when Henrietta J, the penultimate rider out of the 80 individuals, clinched the National Champion title! Congratulations to Josie M (Froggy), Madeline RS (Mickey), Henrietta J (Fella), and Ruby P (Prince) on this remarkable achievement. What a spectacular conclusion to an outstanding championship for Team Leweston!
