Year 12 began their pilgrimage at Symondsbury Estate, walking through ‘Hell Lane’, an ancient, sunken path with its mysterious carvings. This route proved to be a challenging one with lots of mud to squelch through, one student even getting stuck and needing to be rescued!

Lunch was in the grounds of the Chideock Martyrs Church. Gaby Martelli custodian of the church, and her daughter, an Old Antonian, welcomed our students and staff with cups of tea and a tour of the church. Students were even able to see the relics of some of our school House Saints!

Lastly, Father Colin led a prayer service, including our own prayer petitions. Year 12 then returned to Symondsbury Estate via Colmers Hill with its panoramic view of the sea and the beautiful rolling hills. The sunshine was uplifting, and the whole day was a reminder of how 'The world is charged with the grandeur of God'.
