Our Ten Tors teams enjoyed their first experience of camping on Dartmoor, over the Easter holiday.
A long walk on the Saturday took in some amazing views and a variety of conditions, both in terms of weather and terrain.
A shorter walk on Sunday, when they were joined by Headmaster, Mr Paget-Tomlinson, saw navigation skills challenged by a river crossing and the avoidance of bird nesting sites.
The teams enjoyed a break the following weekend before an even more demanding test of endurance and camp craft in their final upcoming preparatory expedition.
