Prep 5 pupils enjoy adventure and teamwork at Mill on the Brue, building confidence and lifelong memories through exciting outdoor activities and challenges.
Last week, Leweston’s Prep 5 pupils set off on their highly anticipated residential trip to Mill on the Brue, a much-loved outdoor activity centre nestled in the Somerset countryside. Over the course of their stay, pupils fully embraced every challenge and adventure thrown their way—demonstrating teamwork, resilience, and plenty of courage.
From climbing and canoeing to the exhilarating Leap of Faith, the children threw themselves into each activity with enthusiasm and determination. One of the most memorable moments included problem-solving challenges while blindfolded, which tested not only their communication skills but their trust in one another.
Pupils also got hands-on with shooting, tunnelling, and various team challenges, where they encouraged and supported each other every step of the way. The evenings were just as special, with a group walk through the beautiful surroundings followed by a well-earned treat: hot chocolates all round!
The residential provided an incredible opportunity for the children to grow in confidence, deepen friendships, and make lasting memories—all while having an enormous amount of fun.
