Leweston Sixth Form students are taking on a 600km challenge this November to raise awareness and funds for Movember and men’s mental health.
This November, Leweston School is proud to support Sixth Form students Josh Hinton, Dylan Robins, and Thomas Alexander-Beresford as they take on an incredible challenge to raise awareness and funds for Movember and men’s mental health.
Together, they will run, cycle, swim, and row a combined 600km in just 30 days – that’s around 20km every day – inspired by the heartbreaking statistic that 60 men lose their lives to suicide every hour.
Mental health struggles are often hidden, especially among young men who may feel pressure to stay silent. Through this challenge, the team hopes to spark open conversations, break the stigma, and encourage others to check in with friends, go for a walk, or simply have a chat – because sometimes, that small moment can make a big difference.
You might spot them training around campus – feel free to show your support, say hello, or even join in if you’re a student. Every kilometre they cover is in solidarity with those who feel unseen.
