Leweston School is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted for the Student Careers Award in the prestigious Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2025—marking the second consecutive year the school has received this recognition.
This nomination highlights Leweston’s continued commitment to preparing students for life beyond school, empowering them with the skills, confidence, and personalised guidance needed to succeed in their future paths. The school’s careers programme, which is fully aligned with the Gatsby Benchmarks, supports students at every stage of their journey, from early exploration of options to focused, individualised support in the Sixth Form.
Leweston recognises that every pupil’s future is unique. The school provides tailored advice and mentoring to ensure Sixth Formers can make well-informed, thoughtful decisions about university, apprenticeships, gap years, or employment. Central to this approach is strong collaboration with employers, higher education institutions, and parents—creating meaningful opportunities that help students realise their full potential.
Headmaster Mr Paget-Tomlinson said, “We are delighted to be shortlisted once again for this award. It is a testament to the hard work of our staff, the ambition of our students, and our shared belief in preparing young people for a successful, fulfilling life beyond Leweston.”
The winners of the Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2025 will be announced later this year.
