Leweston School recently welcomed an exciting film production - an indie folklore feature written and directed by OA (alumnus) Florence. The visit not only showcased the school’s charm as a filming location, but also offered students a rare behind-the-scenes experience, reflecting our commitment to offering students enriching, real-world experiences beyond the classroom.
But this wasn’t just about lights and cameras - it was a learning experience for our students. A group of enthusiastic Sixth Formers had the opportunity to visit the set, engage with the crew, and explore the world of filmmaking up close. They met with the Director, Director of Photography, Producer, Production Assistant, and Costume Designer and Stylist, gaining insights into everything from creative direction to financing and career pathways in the film industry.
