One by one students transformed the cross, a reminder of Jesus’ death, with beautiful flowers creating a vibrant and colourful symbol of the resurrection.
Finally, the whole school community joined in a Marian procession around the grounds, concluding at the Trinity Chapel. Marian devotion processions, particularly during the month of May, are common practice in Catholic schools. These processions are a part of the broader tradition of honouring Mary as a model of discipleship and provide students with an opportunity for spiritual reflection. This morning was one of these beautiful traditions, joining students and staff together in a shared act of faith and reverence.
