Huge congratulations go to Leweston’s Class of 2026, whose hard work, dedication and determination have been rewarded with an exceptional set of results.
Students are now preparing to take their next steps into apprenticeships, the world of work and university, with destinations ranging from Newcastle to Exeter. Their chosen courses and careers span an impressive range of disciplines, including Animation Production, Law, Materials Science and Engineering and Dentistry.
The school is particularly proud to celebrate the achievements of four talented Art students — Charlotte, Theo, Anastasiia and George — who together achieved an outstanding five A*s, three As and a B across Fine Art, Textiles, Photography and 3D.
Their results are a brilliant reflection of their creativity, dedication and hard work, and their next steps are equally exciting. The group will go on to study courses including Costume, Fashion, Modelmaking and Animation Production at universities including Arts University Bournemouth and Kingston.
There are also huge congratulations for Dominiqe, Leweston’s 2025/26 Head Girl, who achieved an exceptional set of A Level results: A in Biology, A in Chemistry, A in Maths and A in her EPQ.
Her achievements extend well beyond the classroom. Dominiqe has shone on stage in school productions including Six, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and Come From Away, while also impressing audiences with her singing as a member of the school choir, Schola.
She will now take another exciting step in her journey, heading to Romania to study Dentistry. Everyone at Leweston is immensely proud of everything Dominiqe has achieved, both on and off the stage.
Leweston is also celebrating the achievements of its first cohort of BTEC Equine Management students, who secured an outstanding 100% pass rate, with several students achieving Distinction grades. Pearson commended the group for producing an extremely high standard of work throughout the course.
The students’ hard work, passion and hands-on dedication have truly paid off, with their talents already opening doors across the equestrian sector. Several are heading directly into high-profile roles, including working with Olympic eventers Tim and Jonelle Price, while others are launching careers in the New Zealand racing industry.
For others, the next step will be further study at university, training to join the police force, or returning to the local farming community to put their specialist skills into practice.
These results are a wonderful celebration of the breadth of talent at Leweston and of the different pathways available to students as they prepare for life beyond school. From academic achievement and creative excellence to practical, vocational success, the Class of 2026 have demonstrated remarkable commitment and ambition.
