Leweston was thrilled to host students from the Sherborne schools, joining our own for a Catholic Confirmation ceremony at St Antony’s Chapel, led by Monsignor Draper, with music and flowers adding to the sacred event.
Students from Leweston and the Sherborne schools came together to receive the Sacrament of Catholic Confirmation, led by Monsignor Father Robert Draper. St Antony’s Chapel was adorned with a beautiful floral arrangement by Mrs Scott, adding to the sense of occasion.
With reverence and joy, the confirmands took part in the sacred ceremony, marking an important step in their faith journey. The readings and homily echoed themes of commitment, grace, and the strength found in the Holy Spirit. Schola’s music enriched the solemnity of the Mass, deepening the sense of prayer and reflection. Surrounded by family, teachers, and the wider community, the newly confirmed stepped forward with renewed faith, embraced by the love and support of those around them.
May the Holy Spirit continue to guide and bless all those who received their Confirmation as they continue their journey in faith.
