International students at Leweston embark on thrilling treasure trails and film recreations, showcasing teamwork and creativity despite the weather.
While many students spent their first week back after half term sitting end-of-year assessments, camping, or exploring France, a lucky few who arrived after the break for their short stay at Leweston, joined Mrs Kelly-Quick (Director of International Students) for an equally unforgettable adventure, exploring the many wonders of Dorset.
Our international short stay cohort set off each day, rain or shine, on treasure trails packed with challenges. Students used their English, maths, and map-reading skills to solve clues in their mystery booklets and compete for bragging rights! The competition was fierce, and despite the intermittent weather, the energy and teamwork never wavered. This year, our international students were even joined by a few local students, though, in some cases, that didn’t always give them the upper hand!
A standout day was their trip to Wells, Somerset, where students were challenged to recreate scenes from iconic films and TV shows filmed there. The results were absolutely brilliant!
A huge thank you to all the students who brought such enthusiasm and creativity to the week.
